A blog about world and global music from a guy who co-hosts the KUNM Global Music Show, 89.9 FM Albuquerque/Santa Fe, http://www.kunm.org. I post one song a day, with reflections on the music, life, and whatever else comes into my mind.

It Is Common Sense to Listen: The Young'Uns and "Tom Paine's Bones"
British folk group The Young'Uns bring us today's random tune, called Tom Paine's Bones. Specializing in unaccompanied singing, The Young'Uns perform both traditional and modern music. The group met as teenagers and while doing underage drinking in pubs they discovered a mutual love of folk music. Eventually, they were asked to sing there by a guy who wanted to hear from "the young'uns," and they sang a sea shanty they knew. Tom Paine's Bones can be found on their 2015 album Another Man's Ground.
