Rahman is an Indian musician, composer, singer-songwriter, producer and philanthropist. Noted for integrating Eastern classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional orchestral arrangements, he made Time Magazine's list of the world's most influential people. Among his many awards are two Oscars and two Grammy's. He is best known in the US for his soundtrack to the hit film Slumdog Millionaire. Chinmayee (also known as Chinmayi) is a Indian playback singer, voice actor, television presenter and radio disc jockey. Tere Bina can be found on the soundtrack for Guru (2006) and on the 2009 compilation Putumayo Presents: India. The video plays the song over scenes from the movie.
